#Step 3.
In this article, we will tell you what criteria to use to choose the location, area, hotel, or guesthouse that suits the team, activities, and group objectives to have a successful TeamBuilding.
- The area you choose must be one where you have not been before and there are also tourist attractions that you can visit in addition to the chosen activities. A new area always attracts and creates enthusiasm among participants, especially if you present it with a little story after researching a little about the history of the area.
- Once you have the geographical area you want to go to, you need to look for the guesthouse, chalet or hotel where you will stay depending on the number of participants. The chosen location must be equipped with generous interior and exterior space to be able to carry out both indoor and outdoor theme building activities.
- Look for a location where you can be ABSOLUTELY alone, without other people staying in that guesthouse, hotel, or cabin. This is one of the most important things for your teambuilding event to achieve its goal. We assure you that you don't want certain people to be around you with a type of music that you don't like 😉 or to create unpleasant discussions during the activities and ruin all the zen of your team 🙂       Â
- It would be important to see the location before you go, so that you can plan ahead and not be surprised that you will find something different than what you hoped for or what the owner told you. If you do not have this possibility, look for as much information and testimonials as possible on social networks and forums to make sure it is ok.
- Discuss with the owner of the location aspects related to the evening party or karaoke, to ensure that you do not have any prohibitions.
- Ask in advance if a campfire can be made, which is effective, especially if you prepare some fun activities and good music or even someone with a guitar by the fire to entertain you.
We hope we've made you want to go out with your team or friends and we wish you lots of fun in whatever kind of TeamBuilding you choose to go to. The important thing is to go out, because it will help you in both your personal and professional life.
